Shuttles

For those of you staying in the area at a hotel, motel, vacation rental, etc., there will be shuttle vans going to the ceremony, as well as vans to drive people home after the reception. Use of the shuttles is strongly encouraged to allow more parking room for guests driving back to San Diego after the event, and to ensure everyone imbibing has a safe way back to their bed.

Shuttle service to the ceremony will commence at 3:15 p.m. each location will be informed in advance the time of their pick-up as well as the driver's telephone number. To ensure you enjoy your time at the venue prior to the start of the ceremony, drinks will be available.

The shuttles will begin taking people back to their vacation rentals and hotels at 9:30 p.m. The last shuttle service will be at about 11:15 p.m.

Driving & Parking Directions

If you are driving from the North, South or West, make your way to Ramona, California.

  • Ramona is reached via State Route 67 and State Route 78. State Route 67 and State Route ("SR")78 merge in the heart of Ramona (specifically at 10th St. and Main St.)
  • Proceed on SR 78 and follow the road toward Santa Ysabel and Julian.
  • Where SR 78 meets SR 79 you will find the "town center" of Santa Ysabel, California. Continue straight on SR 78 up the mountain.
  • Pass the Inja Memorial Park (on your right) and begin to pay close attention to the street signs and road markers on your right.
  • When you see Riverview Road, SLOW DOWN and get ready to take the next right turn into the driveway marked with celebratory signage for the wedding.

*You can also look for the 35 mph yellow sign that precedes the driveway by about 3 yards.

  • After turning right off SR 78, make an immediate left turn and park your car on what is an old highway.

  • Please drive to the end of the road and turn around and then park on the right shoulder to prepare your car for the easiest exit.

From the East (Julian or Wynola)

If you are coming from Julian, go down the hill on Highway 78 to the little town of Wynola.

  • Drive by Wynola Pizza Express on the left and pass the Apple Tree Inn on your right.
  • Keep driving down the hill and soon you will see Springview Road on your left.
  • Keep driving. You are almost there.
  • When you see a yellow 35 mph sign, SLOW DOWN. You will go around a curve called "Horse Shoe Bend."
  • Labyrinth in the Oaks is on your left when you come out of the bend.

  • After turning left off SR 78, make an immediate left turn and park your car on what is an old highway.

    • Please drive to the end of the road and turn around and then park on the right shoulder to prepare your car for the easiest exit.

*If you miss the driveway, Riverwood Road is the next available left turn (it is quick!). Turn around on Riverview Road and make your first right turn to arrive at the venue.
