On November 1, 2014—after approximately four years of dating—Alexa and Matthew will tie the knot. They hope that you will be there to celebrate and support their commitment to each other!

If you have not heard, the wedding is located in the mountains of San Diego County at the headwaters of the San Diego River. The location is actually a perfect compromise of both Alexa and Matt's wishes for their wedding spot. For the last two years Matt has been telling Alexa that they should do a campground wedding. Although Alexa loves to camp and doesn't mind roughing it in the wilderness, she thought having electricity and at least a few flush toilets might be a good idea. After a lot of internet searching and brainstorming, Alexa and Matt decided on what they hope will be the perfect casual setting to say their vows: The Labyrinth in the Oaks. The property is located just outside the town of Santa Ysabel and a mere 10 minute drive from the heart of Julian. The best part is that the venue will allow ANYONE and EVERYONE who wants to camp there Saturday night to set up their tents, trailers, or Rvs. So Matt gets his campground and Alexa gets electricity and a couple of ovens, stoves, and refrigerators to assist in what will largely be a "Do It Yourself" party.

As a semi-destination wedding, Matt and Alexa thought it would be helpful to have a website where they can share pertinent information about the weekend and help you plan your own getaway if you want to stay in the area for a night or two. On the site you will find more information about our wedding celebration, including additional events we are organizing, suggested attire and things to bring (maybe a headlamp or flashlight), and activities to occupy your time.

Accommodation information is also included in case you do not want to drive home after the celebration.
